I Timothy 3:1-4
"...I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peacable life in all godliness and reverence.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

God has commanded us in His word to pray for our leaders.  Let us join together at this time to pray for those in leadership in our nation, that they might seek the wisdom that only God can provide, and let us together put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the Father in glory and remember, that regardless of the political party in power, Jesus Christ is still on the throne!
